Swiss Metal Additive Manufacturing Company Was Named ‘Technology Pioneer’ By WEF

Additive Manufacturing is used in different capacities in several industries. SWISSto12 in particular was an early adopter of metal additive manufacturing for communications systems components. The company’s selection by the WEF was attributed to SWISSto12’s new class of commercial GEO SmallSat, which incorporates the company’s additively manufactures radio-frequency products and systems. The WEF’s ‘Technology Pioneer’ community is a group of 101 organizations that are located all over the world. Participants are usually high growth early-stage technology companies, and they usually collaborate at the Forum’s Centers with government and civil society leaders, their main goal being to help overcome global issues and build resiliency for the future. “It is an honor to have been selected as a Technology Pioneer by the World Economic Forum. We look forward to contributing actively to this remarkable community of global change-makers. Our vision for the future is to help provide cost competitive and secure satellite communications to network operators, countries and communities across the globe, and I am proud to be partnering with the Forum, which will help scale our impact together with their public and private partners,” highlighted SWISSto12 CEO Emile de Rijk.
